Mark is responsible for the smooth and secure running of Balkerne Asset Management’s operations and services and is also the firm’s Compliance Officer. Having begun his career over 30 years ago with the Halifax Building Society, Mark has built up an extensive level of knowledge and experience within the financial services industry. He has achieved the level 5 qualification in Management from the Institute of Leadership & Management and is a Chartered Member of the Institute for Securities and Investment.
Mark is a business mentor at the Stanway School (A Humanities and Math’s & Computing College) and a member of the Rotary Club of Colchester Centurion. He also enjoys time with his family, going to the theatre and concerts, listening to music and reading (especially biographies) and as fair weather permits, spending time paddling down local rivers in his kayak.
